Welcome to the captivating world of Letter Boxed, where words and intelligence intertwine to create a truly unique and challenging word puzzle experience. This game invites you on a journey of language discovery and creative thinking, as you navigate through exciting combinations of letters and colors.
In the Mailbox, you'll find yourself faced with a beautifully designed grid, each containing a set of letters in distinctly colored boxes. Your task is to connect these boxes by forming words with the same letter, while making sure that the letters you use align with the specified colors. It's an enchanting blend of motor competence and strategic vocabulary, requiring both your linguistic skills and spatial awareness.
Choose a puzzle: Start by choosing a puzzle. Each puzzle consists of a set of boxes, each containing a letter, arranged in a grid. The letters are grouped by color.
Connect letters: To create words, you need to connect adjacent boxes that share the same letter. You can connect the boxes vertically, horizontally or diagonally. Remember that you cannot reuse a letter once it is already used in a word.
Make words: When you connect letters of the same color, you will form words. Words must be at least three letters long. Longer words are worth more points.
Complete the Loop: Your ultimate goal is to connect all the boxes of the same color to form a closed loop. This means that the last box you connect must connect back to the first box of the same color, creating a continuous path.
Points: You earn points for each word you create. Longer words and more complex paths earn you higher scores. The game will usually show the total possible word count for the given set of letters.
Undo and Start Over: If you make a mistake or want to start over, you can undo your moves or restart the puzzle.
Hints and Solutions: If you find yourself stuck, some versions of the game may offer hints or even solutions to help you progress.
Level Up: As you successfully complete the puzzles, you will progress to more difficult levels with increasingly complex letter arrangements and combinations.
