Verticle is a new exciting word-guessing game that is taking social networking sites by storm! An improved version of the classic word game that will test your vocabulary skills. However, it's still the same old gameplay where you have to guess the hidden word after only six tries.
The cool thing about Verticle is that the word eyelid is placed in the bottom row of the grid. Your task is to guess each letter one by one, building vertically. After each guess, the color of the boxes will change, giving you valuable clues about how close your prediction was.
Green boxes mean you guessed the correct letter in that position, while yellow boxes mean you're on the right track but the letter is in the wrong position. On the other hand, gray cells tell you that the letter you selected doesn't belong in that column at all. If you guess the sixth time without successfully discovering the hidden word, the solution will appear in the bottom row, displayed horizontally and colored normally.
