Szarada

Welcome to the fascinating world of Szarada, an engaging word game that will challenge your language skills and creativity! Szarada, also known as "Charade", is an intellectual challenge enjoyed by language and puzzle enthusiasts for generations.

In this thrilling game, the player is given a puzzle consisting of a series of empty tiles, representing a word or phrase. The goal is to decipher the hidden word by deducing its letters, syllables or sounds. Unlike traditional word games, Szarada provides clues in the form of definitions, synonyms, antonyms or even confusing hints, adding fun to the solving process.

How to play Szarada

Choose one player to be the "Clue Provider" for the first round. The role of the Clues Provider is to provide hints or clues to other players without revealing the word or phrase directly. Clues providers choose a Szarada puzzle and test it to fully understand the hidden word or phrase.

The Clues Provider then gives clues to the other players about the word or phrase they need to guess. The clue can be in the form of:

One definition: "It's a fruit." Synonyms, antonyms: "It's theverse of 'small.'"

Confusing Hint: "It rhymes with 'glue', and you'll find it in the tree."
Players take turns guessing, trying to fill in the blanks. Clues can provide additional hints if needed. The guessing round continues until someone guesses the correct word or phrase, or until the group decides to move on to a new puzzle.

The player who successfully guesses the word becomes the Clucher for the next round and the game cycle continues.
