Like traditional Sudoku, start with a grid that is partially filled. Initial numbers and hints are provided on the Sudoku card.
One participant represents the "Red" side, while the other represents the "Blue" team.
On their turn, players must select a numbered puck from their set and position it on the grid according to the principles of Sudoku.
Each number (1-9) can only appear once per row.
Each number (1-9) can appear in each column only once.
Each number (1-9) can only appear once in each subgrid 3x3.
In addition to Sudoku rules, participants must abide by the following hockey regulations:
Pucks must be set in a compartment that is not already occupied by a puck.
Players are unable to position pucks in the same row, column, or 3x3 subgrid where a puck has already been placed.
