How to Play MacWordle

Start by entering a five-letter Scots word. For example, let’s say you guess “ABLES.” After each guess, the letters will change color to give you clues:

• Green: If a letter is in the word and in the correct spot, it will turn green. For instance, in our guess “ABLES,” the letter A is in the word and in the right spot!
• Yellow: If a letter is in the word but not in the right position, it will turn yellow. In our guess “CUNDY,” the letter N is in the word but not in that spot.
• Gray: If a letter is not in the word at all, it will turn gray. For example, in “SNECK,” the letter C is not in the word at all.

Use the clues from your previous guesses to make informed choices until you either guess the word or run out of attempts!
