Daily Redactle
Daily Redactle is an intriguing game inspired by Wordle but a thousand times more difficult. Players should expect a subject of a Wikipedia article. Specifically, the topic of a randomly shuffled Wikipedia article was selected from 10,000 important Wikipedia articles (Level 4). In daily mode, a new puzzle will be available every new day.
How to play Daily Redactle
- Enter a word in the input box and press Enter or the Guess button.
- All occurrences of that word will not be responded to in the article content.
- To win, find out the title or topic of the article.
Tips and Quirks
- Only one word can be guessed at a time (Guessing multiple words at the same time will not be effective).
- Most punctuation is automatically displayed on the article page. Some punctuation sometimes escapes Redactle's filters and is removed.
- Guesses are case-insensitive, and letters with diacritics (é, ü, etc.) are assumed to have no diacritics.
- Shift+Enter will attempt to auto-pluralize or singularize your guess. There are certain special cases (e.g. guessing a meaningless word like "asdf") where this will yield meaningless guesses.
- You will likely encounter some formatting and punctuation issues. This is a result of removing certain characters and elements present in the original Wikipedia article that did not work well with Redactle.
- Many common words are automatically revealed for your convenience. This list includes most English prepositions and articles. Guessing these words does not count towards your score.
- Check the Settings menu for configuration options.
